Emotions of a ballerina:

heyletsdancethenightaway:

When people say Ballet isn’t a sport:

I’d like to see you do this:

Because it takes alot of damn effort, energy and training just to do this:

And you have to look beautiful and flawless at all times:

And we all know that you’ve clearly never seen a ballet in your life, so your dancing looks like this:

So if doing this makes us happy:

Then shut your face up you uncultured swine

disparate-young asked: When do you think is to late to start ballet if you want to do It professionally?

Answer:

i don’t think its ever to late i mean look at misty copeland!! there are some things to take into considerations though.  starting late means you will have to work much harder than your classmates and you may initially be put with younger kids until you catch up.  also you are going to have to work hard and fast to be ready for pointework.  make sure that where ever you decide to go you make sure they are a reputable school, because the last thing you want is for the school to teach you wrong haha. look at the school’s recent alumni, and i stress recent because you don’t want to end up somewhere that the glory days are gone.  what ever you do just remember to follow your dreams, and if you have enough heart and enough will I’m sure you can do it!
